This week's topic was an interesting one in that we are providing methods for making our food and beverage supply chain more sustainable. Transportation is one area that can most be affected by using more sustainable methods. You mention using vehicles that are powered by alternative fuels. Right here, companies could see a dramatic reduction in their greenhouse gas emissions. I see that delivery services such as FedEx use trucks that are "hybrid, electric, liquefied or compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles" $($Yahoo$!,2022).$ I've seen many companies do the same with their forklifts and anything else with an engine.
