After watching Ramadan: A Fast of Faith write a reflection of at least 2 paragraphs (meaning 6 to 7 substantial sentences per paragraph) and consider the following questions as writing prompts.

1.Discuss the idea of religious embodiment and how you saw it carried out in the film.

2. How did what you observed in the films fit with the frameworks of analysis that we covered in the lecture? (William Young's questions, or Rituals)

3. Did you see any common ground with the rituals or embodiment beliefs that were illustrated in the film and your own belief system?

4. Food and restrictions on eating are observable in the film, how do these views on food and eating compare with Seventh Day Adventism that we covered in the lecture? What religious purposes are served by rituals that restrict food in the film?
