Please help me answer the questions below for Compensation and Benefits.

Case Study

Marvelous Makeovers (MM) is a thriving upscale dcor business, located in a neighborhood known for its: rich history; numerous public events; vibrant downtown district; charming bed and breakfast options; and, tourism.

As MM grows, so does its number of employees. MM is finding it more difficult these days to attract a suitable applicant pool to fill vacant positions, as the business continues to expand.

The owners of MM have always maintained a clear vision of their companys future. They believe in their products and choose each piece of merchandise with care. Marvelous Makeovers encourages all employees to regard their customers as guests treated with care and consideration.

MM recognizes that they cannot expect their employees to treat their customers with care if MM does not treat their employees with care. MM must adjust its current compensation and benefits strategy to align with its business strategy (mission, vision, and values). Their compensation and benefits strategy must influence employees to embrace their high standards, stay with the company, and remain engaged. In addition, the strategy should address the challenges associated with attracting applicants and candidates with the right knowledge, skills, abilities, and other attributes to help meet MMs business objectives.

Due to business expansion (now almost the size of a city block and their recent online launch), MM realizes it is more important than ever, to keep the firm-specific knowledge within their organization. MM invests a great deal of time and money into the onboarding and ongoing training of their employees.

MM has decided it is time to align its compensation and benefits strategy with its workplace culture. A workplace culture that is currently employing five generations of employees in regular full-time and part-time, and casual (if, when and as needed) positions.

You are a Human Resource Consulting firm hired to create a compensation strategy, which aligns with the organizations strategic goals. MM has provided you with the companys vision, mission, and values and has left the development and planning to you.
