QUESTION 6 - AGENCY Russell had a business and Cathy was, for many years, his agent. Over the past two years Cathy had negotiated several deals on Russell's behalf with Bill. Several months ago, Russell terminated Cathy's authority to act as his agent. Cathy entered into two more contracts with Bill and kept the money that Bill paid her. Russell has decided to sue Bill for the money that he paid Cathy. Russell claims that, as Cathy's agency had been terminated, Bill should not have paid her and, as such, still owes him the money under those two contracts. Advise Bill
