Please help me with my introduction and thesis statement. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Fire protection and life safety systems are required for many types of buildings. These protection systems are designed to provide safety for the building occupants as well as the safety for responding firefighters. Along with the safety components, these systems also provide property protection by reducing potential loss and damage that may occur during an emergency event. In an effort to inform and educate the public, a description of the six unique fire protection systems each with their own type of primary components, and application processes that are specific to each type of building used will be defined. The six systems that will be reviewed are, wet pipe sprinkler systems used in public assembly buildings, standpipe systems used in high-rise buildings, fire detection and alarm systems used in schools, wet chemical systems used in commercial kitchens, foam suppression used in aircraft hangars, and smoke management systems used in covered malls.
