Grade 12 Law - Criminal Code Assignment The Vancouver Police Department was examining an idea whereby individuals convicted of Impaired or Drunk driving would display a letter "D" on their car window. In Ohio, judges are permitted to issue a special license plate to convicted drunk drivers who need their car for work. Police then know that the car is only to be used for that purpose. From your point of view, should sentencing those who are convicted of impaired or drunk driving include identifying them to the public?
