Scope

Students are required to select a South African biosciences company or an industry$-$specific segment within the biosciences field. They should research and analyse the operational and supply chain management strategies employed by the company$/$segment$,$ evaluating their effectiveness, challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Additionally, students are required to conceptualise and propose a new product that the selected company will introduce into their product line. This should include a detailed analysis of how the company's existing operations and supply chain management strategies would adapt to support the introduction of this new product, along with any recommended modifications or enhancements.
