The CasualAnimal Technicianwill assist with the general care and maintenance of various laboratory species in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). If you are interested in providing the best level of animal care and optimum animal welfare conditions then this is the job for you.

The role will suit someone who is:

• Experienced working with laboratory species is an advantage - but on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ethical and compliance-oriented thinker with a passion for animal welfare.
• Highly collaborative and team orientated

Qualifications desired:

• Working on the completion or near completion of an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Animal Technology); or a combination of relevant knowledge, training and or / experience preferably in the animal / biomedical research industry. We can be flexible for the right candidate.
