Markov Chain problem: Consider a weather model with three possible states: sunny, cloudy,

and rainy. The probabilities of transitioning from one weather state to another are shown in the

diagram and table below.

Tasks:

Construct the Transition Matrix P:

Calculate the Stationary State $($refer to examples in slide $9-25)$

Problem $4$: Consider the following second$-$order ordinary differential equation

$\frac{d^{2}y}{d{t}^2}+(3t+2y)\frac{dy}{dt}+(t^2+y)y+3=0$

Tasks $($refer to examples in slide $10-2)$:

Convert the second$-$order ODE into a system of two first$-$order ODEs using MATLAB's

odeToVectorField.

Generate a MATLAB function from the system of first$-$order ODEs using Matlab's

matlabFunction.

Apply the initial conditions $y(0)=1$ and $y^{\text{'}}(0)=0,$ and solve the system numerically

using ode$45.$ Set the time span from $t=0$ to $t=10.$
