Please I need help with assignment. Thank you
To avoid a head crash (the read/write head of the disk drive impacting the surface of the disk), the drive head is "parked to the side (off the disk) unless the drive is in use or expected to be used in the near future. A circuit decides when to unpark the head. The circuit outputs a l to unpark the head. This happens if 1 and either 2 or 3 are true. 1. The operating system must be in normal run mode (that is not in sleep, hibernation or shut down mode). The mode is indicated by a 2-bit value mlm0 which is 00 for shutdown, 01 for sleep, 10 for hibernation and 11 for normal mode. 2. The hard disk must either now be in use or have been used in the last 4 seconds. This is indicated by a timer t2t1t0 which is the number of seconds since the hard disk was last used. The value 000 means in use while 001 through 100 indicate that the hard disk has been used in the last 4 seconds. Any other value indicates that the hard disk has not been used in more than 4 seconds. 3. A motion sensor, S, in the computer indicates that the computer is currently being moved. S = 1 means the computer is being moved. The head is unparked if the computer is NOT being moved. a. Provide the Boolean expression that outputs 1 if the read/write head should not be parked (that is, be unparked). Simplify the expression for extra credit. b. Draw the circuit of the expression from part a. If you simplified the expression, draw the simplified version. Draw an 8-input 1-output MUX
