As group, choose one company/organization of your choice, and you are required to make an interview with the HR manager of the chosen company, to collect information regarding the practices in following points: Background About the Organization (Name, Vision, Mission, strategy, Values/Objectives/Goals, Location, No. of employees, Services/Products offered, Organizational Chart). 1.HR strategic planning Explain how does the company plan the future workforce needs? 2. Job analysis Give examples of job description and job specification for different positions/ jobs of your choice. 3- Recruitment and selection How are the recruitment and selection conducted? Provide some examples about job advertisement? 4- Employee benefits (e.g. vacation, leave policy, health benefits, retirement benefits ...)? 5. Compensation including rewards bonuses etc.., How does the company determine employee salary, bonuses, rewards etc? 6- Training and development Explain the process of conducting training. 7- Performance appraisal How the performance evaluation process looks like? Explain the process of preperformance evaluation. Any certain forms used? Why the performance appraisal mainly conducted in this company? Prepare a Project Report on above-mentioned points along with relevant charts, graphs, processes, policies and case study. Grading: The assignment will be graded on the following criteria: Project Organization and structure: Creativity and insight: The material is presented in an original, engaging, and interesting manner. Integration with course readings, lectures and discussions. Style: The project is smoothly and professionally written. Depth and effort: I will assess the extent to which the report demonstrates thorough research, information is gathered from appropriate sources, and is presented in a persuasive manner. Your group will receive one grade for the project. However, if any member of a group feel that particular individuals deserve higher or lower grades, I will consider the possibility of assigning individual grades to that group.
