Locate & Compose

For this activity, locate an example of an instructions and/or manuals you find interesting or compelling. Choose an example you find compelling or interesting. Respond to the following questions for each artifact:

• What are the instructions and/or the manual about?
• Do you think the example is a successful and/or effective guide to complete its actions?
• What do you think is the most successful or effective element or aspect of the example?
• What do you think is the least successful or effective element or aspect of the example?
• If you could make one change to the example, what would it be?

You can address this assignment in a variety of formats - video, presentation, infographic, or written submission. Consider going beyond a traditional written report.

Format Guidelines

• Presentation: Include at least three well-designed slides; recorded audio and video; should be at least two minutes in length.
• Written Report: Include at least 250 words.
• Infographics: Provide at least one full page of appropriate image and text.
