Background: Your employer, Brandy, has been thinking more about your slide deck, specifically the statistics showing the reasons our customers enjoy non$-$alcoholic beverages. She is considering adding

"functional ingredients" to The Dry Dock's signature mocktail recipes beyond the current ingredients of fruit, spices, sugar, and other flavourings. Functional ingredients are additives that affect the mind or

body in a tangible way, such as reducing stress $($adaptogens$)$ or by boosting energy, mood, or focus $($nootropics$),$ and they are "hot" in the beverage industry right now. However, Brandy wants to know

more about them to decide whether to include them in a new line of products from The Dry Dock. She has asked you to research functional ingredients in non$-$alcoholic spirits, highlight the key benefits and

potential drawbacks, and recommend whether to introduce functional mocktails or not.

Your task:
