Please read below text carefully and Answer #2 questions base on my answer for #1.

- 2. Include what actions or behaviors you observed during communication or interactions.
My answer:
1. I am a banker. In the past days our branch got a new manager. He got so influenced by one of our team members and rest of us all were not considered good. The member by whom he was influenced was of my grade. Any work either done by me or her were having the practice of honouring her and at every mistake either done by me or her, scolding was at my part. One day when i shared to him that today i want to go early because of some of my family member was ill, he consciously gave me more work so that i have to stay back at bank and he let the other girl go home. When i confronted him on this metter he tried to threaten me that he will transfer me to an area where there is no conveyence to travel.
2. During all my communication with the manager day by day i found that somewhere i am loosing my self confidence and even i am so much depressed that i had started thinking that i am wrong. I was loosing my command at my work also. During those 10 months period i was not appreciated even once and the other employee of my grade was so apprecialted that when ever she does something she runs to the mangers cabin to tell him, and he celebrates its work by ordering evening snacks just to celebrate her work for which she is alredy being paid.
Every day i came back home with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. I was not feeing good to work at such kind of place, but i even can't leave my job because my financial conditions were not very good.So i decided to bring back my courage and will start working fo my job and not for any manger. I started raising my voice also against the ill practices . After 10 months i had got a very hard scolding from the manager in which there was no mistake by my side. I was soo depressed and in the same night a letter came for the manager in which there was a transfer order for him. I felt soo relaxed and cheerful. From the very next day of his transfer i was soo happy and all my confidence was back and i again started doing my work with full enthusiasm.
2. Reflection: Visualize yourself as an objective observer, not a participant, as if you were looking in or down on the people and the interactions as they unfolded. Consider the perspectives, language (verbal and body), and actions of everyone in the situation you described.
Now, as you consider this past event as an observer, notice the shift in your emotional state. This level of self-awareness let's us see how we are impacted by a situation and how we are influencing others. Effective leaders use this emotional intelligence reflective technique regularly.
- 1. Discuss how might you apply what you know today about emotional intelligence to change the event in real time or the outcome of the interaction?
- 2. Predict how the outcome might be different and why?
