Open the attached ethical dilemma. Read the ethical dilemma and prepare a 4-5 page recommendation in an APA formatted paper with a title and reference page. The page requirement does not include any title or reference pages. The text can be one of your minimum of fire outside references. Apply all four areas covered in the Solving Clinical Ethical Dilemmas guide in the Getting Started module in your analysis of the dilemma and provide your recommendation to the "ethics" committee.

Ms. J.S is a 20 year old, 24 week gestation female who arrives at her physicians office for her routine

checkup. This is her first pregnancy. While at the appointment she informs her physician that she does

not wish to be pregnant anymore and wants him to schedule the delivery of the baby forthwith. She makes

sure to mention that she intends to keep the baby but just does not want to be pregnant. The physician

explains to her that while medically possible, this is not a good idea. The physician explains the risks to

both her and the baby and informs the patient that the baby has not only a reduced chance to survive,

but even if the baby does survive, there is a high chance of long term or permanent disability. He

recommends that she carries for six more weeks where the chances of death and permanent disability

are much lower and that the situation is safer for both her and the baby. J.S. refuses and dismisses the

explanation, demanding that the baby be scheduled for delivery.
