The Share America Annual Summer Celebration is August Please let me know if you are out of town July August We need all hands on deck.The goal is to have information and screening stations, game stations, door prizes and food trucks at the event. The event is free, but each participant must register. Each participant will receive tickets to use for the food trucks and tickets for the drawing of door prizes. Screening stations will include our partners from UAMS Family and Preventative Medicine who will conduct health screenings, UAMS Dental Hygiene School who will provide dental screenings and the Amber Alert group who will help parents create Identification Cards for child safety. We need action teams to submit their plan with specific steps with a timeline for completing and a proposed budget by May In our planning we want to create action teams for organizing registration and logistics coordinating and identifying what our screening partners need, identifying and contacting organizations to fill the information tables, recruiting and training volunteers for the event, developing promotional materials and advertising the event and securing food trucks. The event is : pm pm The target date to finalize plans and budgets is June This year we will hold the event at the Curran Conway Field in the Oak Forest Neighborhood, a few blocks from our office. We expect children and families from Share America to attend.
