Strengths I have a strong willingness to learn new skills. Im efficient at prioritizing tasks under high pressure situations. I love being a part of a team and forming close relationships. My peers would most likely say that Im a hard worker, great listener, and an overall team player. I have several years of experience in leadership and enjoy training and helping others grow. I have ten total years of experience in the food and retail industries and over two years of experience in the healthcare field. I gained a lot of technical skills throughout all my years of work experience. My credentials: an Associate Degree in General Studies, pharmacy technician certification, and sterile drug compounding certification. Im passionate about caring for people and want to continue a career in healthcare. Weaknesses One of my weaknesses is my communication skills, specifically being more concise with my words. Another weakness that I have is avoiding confrontations as much as possible and setting boundaries. I have heard that I can be somewhat of a pushover because I can be too nice. I tend to avoid tedious or mundane tasks. Procrastination is one of my major down falls when it comes to tasks that are completely unenjoyable. Lastly, Im terrible at marketing myself during interviews. Opportunities I plan to take advantage of the communication classes that the college offers to improve on my communication skills. Additionally, I want to pursue a masters degree in healthcare administration. I also want to apply for internships to gain more experience. At my current job, there are opportunities to take on project which can help grow my skills and knowledge so that I can take on a bigger role within my department. Threats One threat to achieving my career goals is the affordability of higher education. School seems to become more expensive as time goes on. I lack the knowledge of current technologies and that could hinder my success.
