*Please show ALL the work and use the correct given data*
Analyze and solve the following exercise: An ideal Otto cycle, as shown in the diagram, has a compression ratio of 9 and a cylinder volume of 2 liters. At the beginning of the compression process the air is at 101.33 kPa and 20.15C, and 1002 kJ/kg of heat is transferred at constant volume to the air during the heat addition process.
Take into account the variation of the specific heats of the air with temperature (use table A-17) and also consider that the air at the different points must be adjusted with the compressibility factor Z: Z1=0.93, Z2=0.89, Z3=0.87, Z4=0.85. where using the ideal gas equation, determine:
a) the maximum temperature and pressure that occur during the cycle, b) the net work output,
c) the thermal efficiency
d) the mean effective pressure in the cycle.
e) Also, determine the power produced in the cycle, in kW, for an engine speed of 4250(rev/min). Assume that this cycle is operated on a 4-cylinder engine with a total displacement volume of V Liters.
Also, consider that the engine power in kW is calculated with the four-stroke engine ratio: w net /(2*60), where w net = mass* W net is the work per cycle Wnet = q in - q out =(kJ/Kg)
Answer table Points of the cycle T ( K ) U (k/kg) V_(r) P (kPa)1234 Heat input kJ Heat output kJ Net work kJ//kg Net work per cycle k/ciclo Air mass kg Power kW=k//s Efficiency % Cold air efficiency %
