A Chinese software company that manufactures LCD screens has two production facilities (P1 and P2) located in two different places. Company has also three seperate distribution centers (DC1, DC2 and DC3) to satisfy the retailers' demand. The costs for supplying each DC from either facility, depending on the distance, are calculated and given in the table below. Costs are in HongKong dollars (HKD). Each facility has a weekly capacity of 50 LCD's to produce, and each distribution center needs 25 LCD's weekly to satisfy their demand.

a) Using the data calculate the minimum transportation cost weekly plan to satisfy the demands of each distribution center.

b) If there is a limit for transportation, such the company's total shipment from both facilities could not be more than 60 units per week, how would this limitation change the shipment solution given in part a? Note that due this limitation one DC will receive less than its demand.
