In separate trials late last year, Jennifer and James Crumbley became the first parents in United States history to be convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter for the mass shooting committed by their child. On Tuesday, April 9, they were each sentenced to 10-15 years in prison, the maximum penalty for the crime. Is this a slippery slope, or does it now create a precedent for more parents to be charged for what their children do?

What say you? Should kids be jailed (or tried) as adults, or should the responsible adult be jailed for the child's crimes? Give me your honest opinion.
