Explain how you might work with community members on addressing a specific problem(s) as you go through each of the eight stages described in your reading. Stage 1: Ensuring all stakeholders are involved. Describe all of the stakeholders and how you would get them together.

Stage 2: Collaborating with community members. Describe your collaboration style as you attempt to work with the various stakeholders.

Stage 3: Respecting community members. Explain how you would show respect to the various stakeholders. Are there some stakeholders you would have more difficulty respecting? Explain why and state how that can affect your work with the community.

Stage 4: Accurately defining your problem. Note how you would define the problem(s) in the system (the community).

Stage 5: Jointly developing strategies for change. Explain how you would develop a collaborative working relationship with all of the stakeholders. What skills do you think might come in handy?

Stage 6: Implementing change strategies. How are change strategies implemented? Who would be involved in implementing such strategies?

Stage 7: Assessing the effectiveness of your change strategies. What techniques would you use to evaluate the effectiveness of your change strategies?

Stage 8: Recycling if necessary and staying committed. How would you know if recycling is necessary?
