ANSWER PART II

Situation IV Industry/Warehousing A warehouse is often a busy, noisy place with the interaction of people and mechanized systems in production environment (e.g., time is money). In these environments, it is sometimes difficult to balance the dynamic tension between safety and efficiency in many ways which can result in suboptimal decision-making and outcomes.

Part II This section is key as it forms the basis for proposal to take to decision-makers that identifies a problem worth solving, gives some basis for a solution as well as its cost-effectiveness or value in other terms. You may also use your own experiences, but you must include text or other substantive, published, reviewed documentation as well for support.

1. Analysis & Support. For each of the problems in Part I, begin with a short narrative that provide evidence and support for a problem(s). In this section, set up the value and feasibility of the solution and end with a brief statement of the proposed solution(s).
2. Design & Solutioning. Begin by stating any key limitations and follow with the hypothesis for each in a way that can be evaluated and how you will measure it being sure to include a measurement scale and if the measure is objective or subjective. Elaborate briefly on the experimental design to test your hypothesis. Chapter Two of the text is a good reference for many experimental techniques as well as a number of cases and examples in the Additional Reference Materials.
