**PLEASE USE EXCEL IN YOUR SOLUTION**
In this problem, you will use an online PSD plot generator such as the one provided by
Granulometrics to analyze particle size distribution data. Consider both particle size data
provided in previous question.
Note: On top left of the page, click on "Create New Particle Size Distribution Plot" where you
can upload your screening data. Be careful to use U.S. Sieve Sizes and enter Raw Screen
Weight.
a) Generate particle size distribution (PSD) plots based on the data provided. Screenshot
the plot and include in your solutions.
b) Use the online tool to fit all three available PSD models, namely Gaudin-Schuhmann,
Rosin-Rammler, and Bond's 22 models, and record obtained plots and equations.
c) Determine and report 10%,50%,80% and 90% passing sizes obtained using all four
available methods, namely Nearest Neighbors, Gaudin-Schuhmann, Rosin-Rammler,
and Bond's 22 models and discuss potential reasons why the results vary between
applied methods.
