Task/assessment brief:

You must write a reflection of your personal development plan upon learning PDP module, the skills you developed or will further develop, and the impact of these on your future and career goals.

You must read these instructions carefully before attempting this assignment. All of the instructions below are reflected in the marking criteria. Your assignment should contain SIX parts:

1. Introduction (80-100 words)

a) Define the term Career Skills. (Provide appropriate citations to support your discussion).

b) Discuss the importance/significance of Career Skills in general.

2. Personal Analysis (400-450 words) Conduct a deep analysis of your Career skills. Clearly describe the current state of your Career Skills Your discussion should focus on the following important points:

a) Identify three (3 Career Skills you consider as your strength or that you are good at this point.

b) Reflect and elaborate your experience in college in improving your Career Skills

3. Development Plan (200-250 words) This part should include a plan about improving your Career Skills. It should include a course of action and a timeline. Focus on the following point:

a) Identify three Career Skills that you need to develop for the future. Produce a plan for the Career Skills which need to be developed further. Your plan should include a timeline and how you will address these development needs.

4. Discussion: (80-100 words) In this section, discuss the role of Career Skills in career success. The following point should be part of your discussion:

a) Discuss the relevance of developing the Career Skills in your personal development and in your successful career (provide evidence of research/citation).

5. Conclusion (80-100 words) Summarise the above discussion and provide a conclusion.

6. References You must use at least FIVE latest (Published after 2017) academic sources. Include proper in-text citation and a reference list at the end of your assignment. You have to follow the Harvard referencing style.
