I do not agree with the HR director. If the safety report is showing that the accidents increased I would not want to risk any other accidents that could happen. I myself would personally do immediate safety training for the safety of my employees and I. What would happen if had another accident and an employee was seriously injured because we had to wait to do an analysis first per the HR managers request. This accident could open up the company for potential lawsuit due to negligence since the company was already aware of the increase in accidents from the last safety report. Which of course we could have avoided altogether if we did not have to wait an do the analysis first. Had our employees done a mandated safety course refreshing their memory from the previous safety course the employees received when they were first hired and review with them the accident reports from the most recent safety report that we had received. It would help them be more careful with the refresher they received
