Chapter 8, "Development and Implementation of Training" (pp. 291-326)

In this chapter, you will learn about the various parameters necessary to develop a training program. In addition, you will learn about various strategies that can be used to conduct effective training.

Focus on the development phase diagram on page 331 of the course textbook. The diagram depicts all the activities necessary to develop effective training. In addition, in order to understand all of the factors to be taken care of while developing a training program, focus on Figure 8-3 on page 303 of the textbook. This figure provides a visual representation of the process of shifting a trainee from the training room to the actual work environment.

Chapter 9, "Evaluation of Training" (pp. 327-374)

Chapter 9 focuses on the evaluation phase of a training program. The chapter deals with the importance of evaluation and the types of evaluation methods.

Focus on how evaluating a training program helps trainers as well as the organization. This will help you create better training programs in real-life situations.
