Submission Instructions
The students are required to submit.
1. Word file / PDF file with Table 1 Completed
2. Packet tracer file
Assignment title: Configuring OSPF in the given network.
Objectives
Part 1: Design an IP Addressing Scheme (Complete the Table 1)
Part 2: Implement the Design in Packet tracer . Assign IP Addresses to Network Devices
and Verify Connectivity
Part 3: Configure OSPF
Part 4: Verify connectivity.
Background / Scenario
This is your first day at Job . You are given an IP Address of 192.168.100.0/24 by your Network
Administrator, and you are required to do the following.
You have to do subnetting and complete Table 1 given below.
You have to make sure that each LAN in this network gets 25 ip addresses for PCs ,
switch VLAN and Router (see Figure 1)
You have to implement the given scenario in packet trace and assign ip addresses to all
the devices as per the table.
You have to configure OSPF routing protocol between routers.
You have to verify the connectivity between hosts and make sure that the network is fully
functional.
In this activity, you are given the network address of 192.168.100.0/24 to subnet and
provide the IP address for the Packet Tracer network. Each LAN in the network requires at
least 25 addresses for end devices, the switch and the router. The connection between R1
to R2 will require an IP address for each end of the link.
