Prepare a PowerPoint that summarizes emerging issues such as diversity, equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in a construction environment. In this Unit, we look at Workplace Violence, Sexual Harassment, Stress in the Workplace and Ergonomics. In Unit V, we looked at Cultural Diversity, Gender Identity, and other differences that may cause conflict in the workplace. Put yourself in the position of a safety and health manager who works closely with HR in dealing with some of the issues we have discussed in previous Units, along with the Reading Assignments in this Unit. How would you relate these concerns to site superintendents and foremen? Include topics you think are relevant from the study guides in your last 3 Unit Lessons and your required readings. Also, provide a slide or two discussing how these issues might be integrated into the safety management systems approach. Are there any technologies available that might be useful? For example, PPE designed for different body types? Apps that might promote DEI for all workers.
