Conduct individual research. Strengthen your rationale and conclusions with evidence$-$based support. Cite external sources appropriately within the text and in a reference list.

Put yourself in the shoes of Jamila Hoggins, Director of Diversity and Inclusion of the organization $($the following instructions are adapted and copied from your textbook$)$:

Identify key concepts and the significant facts of this case. What are the important issues embedded in this case?

Define the problem. What is the problem that needs to be addressed? What do we already know about the problem? Questions may be raised about matters that are unclear or inconsistent.

Suggest several possible solutions to address the problem. What can we do to address the problem? Problems frequently have short$-$term causes as well as deeply embedded root causes, and you should consider the different ways in which the problem may be understood and corrected.
