Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge Lead the Sales Team to drive strong sales principles and grow the branch's retail, midmarket, and small business portfolios Resolves client concerns, provides regular guidance and coaching, participates in meetings, ensures staff levels match branch activity, and maintains a professional branch image and service standards Oversees the branch's operational effectiveness by monitoring the daily accounting cycle, reviewing reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Implement effective daily and periodic management controls, and ensure the Manager Service & Support provides reasonable explanations for non-financial results Develop branch staff to foster an engaged, satisfied team and a client-focused sales and service culture by creating a continuous improvement environment through Employee Development Plans Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Bank's image in the communities served, by personal involvement in the social and professional life of the community Ensures the execution of the branch's compliance and security responsibilities by all staff, this includes reviewing client transactions and activities, providing direction on KYC/AML policies, ensuring staff training on these matters, and applying KYC requirements Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Working Conditions Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. The position is primarily non-physical; however, periodic travel is required for customer calls and community activities.
