Prior to beginning work on this assignment,

• Read chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4 from the text Contemporary Project Management: Plan-driven and Agile Approaches.
• Review Week 1 recommended resources to complete this assignment. Additional project selection criteria:
• Your project must last at least three weeks.
• Your project team must have at least five members.
• Your project budget must be at least $5,000.
• Your project must have at least five deliverables and 10 tasks. (For example, when remodeling a kitchen, 'Cabinets' can be one of the deliverables and 'Choosing cabinets' and 'Installing cabinets' can be the examples of the tasks.)

You can select a project that you may have worked on in the recent past, do intend to work in the near future, or completely make up a new project. After considering your project, write the scope overview and business case sections of a charter. Follow best practices from our textbook (Sections 3.4b and 3.4c) and the PMBOK Guides.
