to set to determine if the mean heights of males and the mean heights of females are equal.

Set up a hypothesis test at = 0.05.

Use H₀: _m - _f = 0 as the beginning of your null hypothesis.

Also state your alternative hypothesis.

Include use of a spreadsheet.

Calculate your interval.

Draw a sketch with appropriately shaded regions.

Calculate the test value.

Make and indicate the decision.

Clearly communicate your results in common and accurate language.
