the book$).$ If the depth upstream the gate $y_{\text{u}\text{p}\text{s}\text{t}\text{r}\text{e}\text{a}\text{m}}=10ft,$ and all losses are neglected except

the dissipation in the jump, please calculate the water depth right after the gate. If this

depth is the super$-$critical depth of the jump, please calculate the sub$-$critical water depth of

the jump for a specific discharge of $20f\frac{t^2}{s}.$
