Problem $1$: Residual dislocations

As dislocations transmit across GBs$,$ a portion of the dislocation gets absorbed within the GB

plane, which is known as a residual dislocation. In order to calculate the residual dislocation, we

must rotate the incident and outgoing dislocations into the same plane. From this analysis,

calculate the residual Burgers vector:

$b_r=R_1*b_1-R_2*b_2,$ where $b_1=\frac{a}{2}[110]$ and $b_2=\frac{a}{2}[011]$
