Problem 4 The comprehensive regional hospital discussed in the section "Resource Planning for Service Providers" performs bypass surgery at its state-of-the-art facility. Similar to aneurysm repair, this procedure also requires the patient to proceed through seven levels of treatment, as seen in the bill of resources in Figure 4. The amount of time it takes for a patient to move from one level of treatment to the next is shown in Table 1.
