Design a transmission shaft, $1\mathrm{.}5m$ long, for a wind turbine mechanical system that

transmits power from wind blades system to a Permanent Magnet Generator of

specifications given in Table $1.$ The shaft must be designed to withstand applied

loading and ensure reliable operation, with the angle of twist less or equal to $1$ degree,

over its intended lifespan of $20$ years.
