The software will create a unique appointment number. 7. The Dental Practice will assign a dentist, a date, an office, and a time for the appointment. 8. A dentist performs procedures on a patient during an appointment. 9. The potential procedures are Check-ups, fluoride treatment, fillings, oral surgery, and X-rays. 10. All dentists can perform oral surgery. However, not all offices have the equipment necessary for surgeries. 11. Patients have a name and a billing address. They may have insurance, which is identified by policy number.
