Procedure: $1.$ To help you complete the observational form, the work elements as well as the W column of each element have been identified for you. Note that the readings in W columns were recorded by continuous method. In addition, "wild" elements and foreign elements have also been identified. $2.$ Verify the prefilled numbers in the excel form. $3.$ Prepare the observational form Calculate OT for elements $($from on$-$video timer$).4.$ Complete study summary: Write down sample size for each element $($drop $$wild$$ elements from sample$).$ Calculate total OT across cycles. Assume R$=0\mathrm{.}9$ across all elements and cycles and calculate normal times $($NT$).$ Determine average NT$.$ Include allowance for standard time $($note that personal allowance $=5\%,$ basic fatigue $=4\%,$ standing allowance $=2\%)$ Calculate standard times of each element and total standard time. $5.$ Fill$-$out Time Check portion of time study sheet: Record finish time. Record TEBS $($look at time of on$-$video timer when operator starts task$).$ Record TEAF $($should be $0).$ Effective time $=($OT$),$ Ineffective time $=($ Foreign Element$)+($wild$$ value$),$ TEBS $+$ TEAF $+$ effective time $+$ ineffective time $$ elapsed time $6.$ Review completed time study sheet.
