1. Process it takes to make a Drs. appointment - from the clinic's side of things. Start from the time the patient calls in and consider all steps necessary through to the time that the patient is billed and pays for services.
2. Create a process flow chart in Lucidchart to diagram the process and understand steps and decisions that need to be made along the way.
   1. Minimum of 15 steps and 5 decision points
      1. Be careful for the loops - there should always be a way out of a step/decision that will lead you to the end.
      2. You may have two steps together without the need for a decision - but consider whether a decision needs to be made at that point, if there's no decision to be made, then move on to the next step.
      3. Make sure that you have a 'start' button and an 'end' button so that it's clear where the process starts and ends.
