PROECT FUSION INSTRUCTIONS

You are leading a task force as a Project Manager. Your team is researching and fact gathering information so you can present to the board of directors why it is critical to implement an ERP system at your company before the current system bleeds all the money out of the dwindling profit margins before its too late. You decided to name the task Project Fusion.

You need to explain to the board of directors why you named it Project Fusion. Mostly, during the presentation you must convince those in attendance the critical importance of an ERP system by discussing the potential advantages of implementing one in a modern business environment. Tell them how much it will improve accurate decision$-$making with a good example, and how a system of its kind will positively impact impact factors like operational efficiency, forecasting, cost$-$effectiveness where you could calculate or explain ROI. Mentioning how the current silo systems are already obsolete and are considered to be legacy systems. Tell them how they are hurting the company as compared to leveraging new trends in data management that can fix a broken information system while at the same time it will promote customer loyalty. Talk about connected or relational databases and real$-$time processing, too, explaining how it results in a reduction of manual paperwork, and why using hand written faxes faxes is not cost effective. You must be persuasive enough to those sitting on the board who control the finances of the company. In order to meet this challenge you must provide and use real$-$world examples or scenarios during your presentation to illustrate your points based on most, if not all, of the bold and underline keywords in this assignment, above, that your task force compiled for you to use.
