Professional Life. What does it mean to identify these issues in the workplace? What are the limits of work where privacy and speech are concerned?

There are quite a few issues that people have raised about the advancements of technology and their impact on the workplace. Static thinkers see their jobs going away, while dynamic thinkers see new opportunities for personal growth. There is a problem, though, in that advancements outpace the ability of employers to easily direct them to the benefit of the business, leaving quite a gap that employees can exploit (and many do). However, many employees, in so doing, are giving quite a benefit to their employers as well by carelessly leaving behind significant information about themselves that can be reviewed later. Pick an aspect of the nature of information access today and how it surrounds the workplace, and comment on how it has changed the way people apply for work, how they spend their work day, how they represent their employer outside work, or how employers deal with the sudden expansion of knowledge about details of employees that may impact their work or their suitability as an employee.
