Professor's Question$($s$)$: The thing about problem solving in the classroom, is that, the problems are normally not at bad as the ones you will deal with in the 'real' world. The problems in the 'real' world aren't defined like they are in the classroom and there aren't always examples to use. One has to use a little creatively sometimes and, also, do a lot of research. What kinds of problems have you run across in that 'real' world that you can relate to a classroom setting? What advice would you give for dealing with these kind of problems? Do you have certain steps or procedures you follow in problem solving? Do you make notes and write down references when you do projects or reports? Why?
