On completion of the programme, students should be able to

1. communicate ideas in a manner appropriate to the circumstance using English and Chinese language (oral and written) in social and academic contexts;

2. use information technology and quantitative/numerical skills to manage information and solve daily life problems.;

3. explain the basic principles that underlie human behavior;

4. discuss the importance of management functions and their applications in business;

5. calculate, compile, and analyze financial records to make practical business decisions;

6. carry out an in-depth and critical analysis and solution of business problems;

7. apply a wide range of business and human resource management knowledge in the training and development of manpower in organizations;

8. analyze training needs and set training objectives for organizations;

9. evaluate effectiveness of employment related law compliance.

Module Intended Learning Outcomes (MILOs)

On completion of the module Employee Development, students should be able to

ILO1. discuss and analyze the training and development functions in organizations;

ILO2. analyze training needs and set training objectives;

ILO3. implement training activities in an appropriate manner;

and ILO4. evaluate training results

The Training Delivery The aim of this assignment is to match with the PILO no. 7 and 8 and MILOs no. 2 and 3 of the module to test your ability to design and deliver a training programme based on your knowledge and application of the concept of the training cycle

Write a report of 500 to 800 words on how you would prepare for the training, aside from preparing the powerpoint slides. You should include the following information in the document: a. Besides the powerpoint, what other teaching aids do you need? b. Any specific information from the training needs analysis of the audience/trainees? c. What do you think are the expectations of the audience/trainees
