Managers and supervisors will often be called on to manage conflict in the workplace. Describe the types of conflict that might arise; the signs, symptoms and potentially destructive outcomes of unresolved conflict; and the potentially positive outcomes of effective conflict resolution.

Explain the action that might be taken to resolve different forms of conflict and the assistance or resources that could be required. Explain how these actions would help to resolve conflicts and the types of outcomes that might be expected.

Once a resolution was in place, what action would you take to monitor and evaluate the implementation and why is this necessary?
