Project Charter

Team Metajets

Team Objective:The Tasks required for our designated Team Project Part will be addressed as a team. How we organize ourselves is up us. Our Team Project DiscussionForum is provided in the session e-learning, in which the Part is delivered. We are expected to participate in some way for each of the four "Parts" of the Team Project. We may communicate by whatever mode appeals best; however, the instructor will monitor and use the postings in the Team ProjectForum to determine who is participating in the requirement. If you want credit, post in thatForum in the preparation of each of the four Parts. After agreeing on the responses, the team will post their answers in the Team ProjectForum of Sessions 4, 7, 10 and 13. Each part we should elect who uploads the deliverable.

Team Logistics and Communication: We shall communicate through various means, text, email, and phone communication as our main modes outside of our Zoom meetings. Prompt responses from one another are expected. If a team member is unable to provide a completed deliverable as promised, they should advise the group in advance and ask for support to arrange for an alternate means and method.

  • Format/Timing: Reoccurring Zoom meetings every Monday from 18:00 to 18:30 PST
  • Additional Communication channel(s): Zoom, Email, Text, Phone calls
  • Collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams (Shared Documents)

Code of Conduct: Begin each meeting with a brief check-in and then confirm the purpose and agenda. The team will stick to topics and focus fairly for each with agreed allocated amount of time. The required deliverables shall be assigned fairly, and actions recorded within the minutes from the meeting.

  • Arrive on time and stick to the agenda
  • One person speaks at a time with no side bar conversations - stay on target
  • Be professional, respectful, and listen with curiosity
  • Full participation is expected with a balance so everyone can share their opinions
  • Be brief, be brilliant, and be gone

Process Roles:

  • Team Meeting Leader:Have the agenda and guides the team through the topics.
  • Process MonitorFacilitates resolution of differences.
  • TimekeeperKeeps track of time in relation to agenda topics
  • Recorder:Keeps minutes and records of key meeting outcomes and activities
  • Champion:Supports team members with tools and techniques to enhance cdeliverables

Decision making and Problem Solving: Analyze the data available and look for team consensus. We may not all agree every time on every team decision, yet, if we all can all achieve buy-in with the final decision and fully commit to support it, then that will lead us to successful results.
