Project: Create a Business Dispute and Resolve It

Assignment Directions:

Create a scenario in which a business dispute takes place, then resolve it in two ways: (a) first, through small-claims court and (b) second, through settlement. The results can differ in both cases.

Remember: details can be crucial when a judge makes his or her decision. When deciding on which small-claims court the plaintiff will file a claim in, make sure you mention which state, the maximum amount that you can request, and how the matter is resolved. Be sure to cite any Web sites referred to.
