3.Conduct and document a risk analysis and a cost benefit analysis for the proposed improvement .Make sure you have clearly outlined the risks ,any procedures that would be followed to mitigate risk and covered all of the costs involved.

4.Clearly explain the benefits of the proposed improvement -in terms of

• performance outcomes
• quality management
• business sustainability
• environment/social/legal impact

5. With whom would you consult with and why would you consult with these people ?

6.Draw up an appropriate implementation/action and transition plan for this improvement .The plan should describe the improvement ,nominate the resources that will be required ,detail the personnel to be involved and indicate milestones and deadlines .Charts and graphs might be appropriate .
