Project Focus - How can I manage my time & money to reduce my stress in the future?

Your final mission of this module is to explore the above question and how it affects your mental health. Use the questions below to guide your work. You can choose from a Google Slides Presentation, Prezi, Google Site, or a Personal Portfolio for your final product/presentation.

1. You have just graduated from the college of your choice! Please research and select a career of choice. Research what the entry level position is in your field/industry of choice. Select a job/position and figure out what the average yearly starting salary is. Identify what your monthly income will be.

2. Select an area of the country/world you would want to work in - Describe the demographics of that city/town. What drew you to this area of living?

3. Brainstorm what you think will be your monthly bills (examples include: rent/mortgage, utilities - electricity, heat, hot water, phone, cable, transportation - car/subway/bus, food/groceries, taxes, leisure spending, gym memberships, etc.).

4. What does the balance of your monthly income to your monthly expenses look like? Provide a short analysis of your situation.

5. Where are you willing to sacrifice and where are you not when it comes to things like reliable transportation, trips, housing, etc. What are your needs and what are your wants. in terms of money.

6. What are three large money purchases that may cause you distress in your future?

1. Identify methods to cope with distress from money. Identify three reach-in techniques and three reach-out techniques that would help you deal with this distress.
