Project : This is a capstone research project where our team would be examining project management practices of one of the closed projects of our Sponsor Company "City of Toronto". The project can be termed as an "Assigned Project" which follows waterfall methodology. The sole motive of conducting our project is to audit and examine the methodologies and practices of the assigned project, perform comparison with the standards set in PMBOK and finally identify the gaps and suggest further recommendations. This project will help us to gain practical experience of working on a real life project and will help us to achieve our professional goals by getting an in-depth understanding of the PMBOK methodologies which in turn will help us in improving our Project Management skills from the lessons learned throughout. While conducting this project we will also get an opportunity to build our personal network with experienced professionals from the industry. We would get an opportunity to act as real Project Managers and gain insight of project management skills and techniques by working on this project with our industry experienced sponsor.
