ANSWER HERE Question 5. Annabelle Pearson has recently moved to Geelong and is looking for a rental property. She is seeking a two- bedroom house. A colleague informed her that a friend of a friend (Peter Smith) is looking to lease his house. This is the first time that Annabelle has ever rented and doesn't really know the laws regarding residential tenancies. She contacts Peter and he explains that the house contains three (3) bedrooms, two bathrooms and is available anytime for $600 per week. Annabelle is delighted and agrees to move in the following weekend. Peter delivers the keys and promises to provide an agreement before she moves in. There is no discussion relating to the length of the lease. Annabelle moves in without yet seeing the agreement. Three weeks later, Annabelle comes home one day after work to find Peter's friend Bill in one of the spare rooms. Bill explains that Peter allows him to crash in the room whenever he is in town and that his understanding was that she rented only two (2) of the rooms. Annabelle is very upset.
